Monica Fortune: The right person for you! It is easy to measure a Real Estate Agent by the money that they make. I find that money by itself I is not a true indicator of how good an agent is. I value an agent by their clients. I can tell from talking to the clients that agents refer to me just how much time the agent has given to teaching, coaching and preparing buyers for the journey ahead. Buying a house is not just a purchase of bricks and lumber but it is a melding of the clients life into their new house to create a home. If you are looking for an agent to either buy or sell a home I highly recommend Monica.

Monica Fortune is an outstanding agent. We were blessed to have Monica represent us for dual purposes. As the agent listing our home, she suggested changes we needed to consider in making our home more marketable. For instance, she suggested reasonably priced upgrades to the kitchen such as granite counter tops; and minor furniture re-arrangement that would get the potential buyers to conceptualize rooms for their usage. Monica kept us informed of the feedback she received from other agents and used this feedback to sell our home. As the agent helping us to find our dream home, she worked tirelessly to get us a home. She knew our choice neighborhoods and spoke with other agents to determine homes that would be coming on the market. We knew about the house we purchased at least 2 days or so before it hit the market. We viewed the house the day it listed and the rest is history. She was fair in pricing my house just right in order for it to sell. She also gave me great staging advice which is a must in this market. I first worked with Mrs. Fortune in the spring. I was a recent widow and needed to sell my home. She was joy to work with. Not to mention she helped to put my mind at ease. This was my first major transaction that needed to be completed after the passing of my husband. She knows the market well and helped me determine the fair market value of my home. Additionally, she helped me find a reasonably priced repairman to do some minor repairs before the open house. The house sold for a good price, thanks to her skills of negotiating. I’ve known Monica as a church friend for many years, but as a realtor last year (2017) when I began looking for a house to purchase. When she met with me through Century21 Trademark Realty, Monica was totally professional, pleasant, and thoroughly informed about the local housing market and home buying. She patiently went through the process with me, setting up search parameters, and even suggesting a broker to work out my finances and qualifying me for home ownership. The listings were updated frequently and as I requested to see houses, Monica and I would spend several hours a day visiting sites where she gave me the benefit of her expertise as to what to look for or look-out for. Monica was very thorough with her explanations. She always followed up and never pressured me to make decisions.
